Living in Boca Bridges

Boca Bridges is what happens when a builder decides the clubhouse is the point. It is a gated GL Homes community on the Lyons Road corridor in West Boca Raton, with roughly five hundred single-family estate homes set around lakes and a lifestyle complex that most private clubs would recognize.

If you are trading up into the $1M+ band, the question is rarely "Is Boca Bridges nice?" It is: do you want the club built in, the newer construction, and the West Boca address, and is that worth more to you than being near the water?

Who this guide is for

  • Buyers weighing a newer, amenity-heavy gated community against an established club
  • Relocators comparing the Lyons Road corridor with East Boca and Delray
  • Anasa Collection clients who care how a house lives, not only how it lists

No invented comps. No volume brags. Just orientation — then a concierge, then a person.

Location & access

Boca Bridges sits on the west side of Lyons Road, north of Clint Moore Road and south of Atlantic Avenue, in the cluster of GL Homes communities that line this stretch of western Palm Beach County. Lyons Road is one of the main north–south roads out here, and the Florida Turnpike runs just to the east.

That placement cuts both ways. Delray Marketplace is close to the north, and Atlantic Avenue runs straight east toward downtown Delray and the ocean. Glades Road and Town Center at Boca Raton are the southern pull. What you trade for newer construction and the amenity package is distance from the Intracoastal and the beach. Drive it at the hour you would actually drive it before you decide.

Builder, era & homes

GL Homes built Boca Bridges. The first owners moved in during the summer of 2019, and the builder's own community newsletter from fall 2021 still counted more than two hundred homes under construction, so most of the community dates from roughly 2019 to 2022. GL's sales are finished, so homes here now trade as resales.

The homeowners association's management company describes the community as 504 luxury single-family homes. Plans range from one-story to two-story, in several collections, from about 2,500 square feet under air to well past 8,000. The upper end of that range is where Boca Bridges overlaps the Anasa Collection. Lot position matters a lot here: lake views, cul-de-sacs and exposure separate homes that look alike on paper.

Gate, clubhouse & courts

The community is gated, and access runs through a staffed gatehouse. Inside is a 27,000-square-foot clubhouse and more than seven acres given over to recreation. The association lists:

Clubhouse. A restaurant with poolside seating, a full-service pool bar, a lounge with a bar and catering kitchen, an indoor sports court, a fitness center and group fitness studio, game and card rooms, a multipurpose room, locker rooms with saunas, and a massage room.

Pools. A resort-style pool, a lap pool, a whirlpool spa, an interactive wet play area and poolside cabana baths.

Racquets & outdoor. Six lighted clay tennis courts and one lighted hard court, four lighted pickleball courts, a pro shop, stadium-style seating, a full outdoor basketball court, a party pavilion and a large shaded playground.

There is no golf course inside the gates. If golf is part of the brief, that is a separate membership somewhere else, and Hobson can help you map the options.

How ownership works

Boca Bridges runs on a homeowners association model, not an equity club. The amenities belong to the community, and dues are billed quarterly through the association. Every purchase requires an application and the association's approval before closing. Ask for the current budget, what the dues include, and any special assessments before you write an offer. Those numbers change, so get them from the association rather than an old listing.
